KALGOORLIE Bowling Club hosted its annual Golden Nugget Of Kalgoorlie carnival over two days this week.

Teams from all over Western Australia came to Kalgoorlie to compete in the two events that comprise the carnival.

Alan & Co and Goldfields Realty, sponsors for the carnival, helped to make this year's a success.

The first event, the Cash Fours, saw six teams competing, with a team from Wanneroo the.

A local team took first place in the Gold Nugget competition.

The weather was kind with the first drops of rain falling just as the last game of the carnival finished up.

Club president Chris Holt said: “It has been a successful carnival and has attracted bowlers from near and far. Many thanks to our sponsors Goldfields Realty and Alan & Co.

“Kalgoorlie Bowling Club welcomes new members, those who are interested can phone the club or call myself on 0447 171 148,” he said.
